Trouble With A Capital T: Tallahassee's Punk Pioneers - The Exhibition March 6-8, 2026

Trouble With A Capital T: Tallahassee’s Punk Pioneers, an exhibit on Tallahassee’s early punk and underground music and culture, will take place at 621 Gallery with opening weekend slated for March 6-8, 2026.

This can’t-miss exhibition will feature original flyers, photos, ephemera, recordings, and other artifacts related to the Capital City’s early punk scene.

Opening weekend will feature additional programming, including reunion band sets(!), a punk swap meet, panel discussions, and more. Details will be forthcoming over the next several months.

Ways you can participate:
  • We’re seeking sponsors for this event! Want to promote your business and help make this the best exhibition possible? Email Lesli or myself at tallahasseepunk@gmail.com.
  • Have old flyers, photos, or other material to loan to the exhibit? Email 80sTallyPunk@gmail.com.
  • Want to get the band back together? We’re planning a concert series the opening weekend that includes band reunions as well as current local acts. Already several OG bands have expressed interest (stay tuned, friends). Email 80sTallyPunk@gmail.com.
  • We want to promote like-minded projects around this exhibit/event. If you have a project related to early Tallahassee punk in the works, or are interested in creating one, email 80sTallyPunk@gmail.com.
